About me

My practice
I am trained in the humanistic approach and am queer friendly. I provide: · A safe therapeutic space: Focusing on the profound impact of trauma on emotions and behavior, offering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. · Respect and understanding: Based on humanistic theories, respecting the uniqueness and growth potential of each visitor. · Queer Friendly: I have 9 years of experience in this field. I help visitors of diverse genders and sexual orientations explore and accept their true selves.

In addition to a Master's degree in Art Therapy, I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Publishing and Editing, a second Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I specialize in designing unique art therapy programs tailored to clients with diverse cultural backgrounds and expressive preferences. I also integrate various psychotherapeutic approaches such as writing therapy, poetry therapy, and animal-assisted therapy to help clients address their issues. My background in arts and crafts has given me a passion for exploring the therapeutic properties of art materials and different artistic creation methods, making me one of the "materials-oriented" art therapists in Australia. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I maintain an inclusive approach towards people of all genders and sexual orientations, and my rich life experiences are a valuable asset in my psychotherapeutic practice. My native language is Chinese (Mandarin), and I can provide art therapy and psychological counseling in Chinese.
