About me

My practice
I offer a compassionate, holistic, and person-centred approach. I believe every person has inherent value and a meaningful story. I aim to create a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I seek to understand each person within the context of their family, culture, and environment, recognising our deep need for connection and purpose.

Building trust is at the heart of my work. My style is empathetic and inclusive, encouraging clients to guide their own journey. I listen with care and respectful curiosity, offering insights when helpful and gently challenging when growth calls for it. My goal is to empower clients towards healing, personal growth, and a more fulfilling life.

Relationships are dear to my heart. I work with couples to help them identify their issues. We often begin with joint sessions and then engage in individual sessions, but this framework is flexible depending on the couple’s needs. Together, we formulate a plan going forward. I use an eclectic mix of modalities, incorporating evidence-based theories such as Emotion-Focused Therapy and The Gottman Method, to identify difficulties and help couples restore a secure emotional bond. This approach results in improved communication and a stronger attachment moving forward.

Outside of counselling, I’m a wife and mum to four wonderful children. I enjoy reading, walking, creative hobbies, anything Jane Austen, and spending time with family—especially at school concerts where I get to hear my children play the piano and violin.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to provide flexibility and convenience. You’re welcome to book directly via my website: www.flourishinglifecounselling.com.au. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
