About me

My practice
I am a PACFA-registered counsellor supporting children, adolescents, adults and families, with a particular interest in working with young people and those navigating complex emotional or relational challenges.

I bring extensive experience from school-based counselling and crisis mental health settings, where I have supported children and adolescents presenting with anxiety, emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties, neurodivergence (including ASD and ADHD), family instability, and the impacts of trauma. My approach is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and developmentally appropriate, with a strong focus on safety, trust and emotional regulation.

I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, burnout, and the longer-term effects of relational or developmental trauma. My background in crisis support and senior leadership roles allows me to work calmly and thoughtfully with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about next steps.

Alongside individual counselling, I support parents and caregivers through psychoeducation, consultation and collaborative problem-solving, recognising the vital role families play in a child or adolescent’s wellbeing. I have a strong understanding of mandatory reporting and safeguarding processes and am experienced in working within multidisciplinary systems, including schools, community services and external mental health providers.

I aim to provide a warm, respectful and grounded therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported and empowered to build insight, resilience and meaningful change.
