About me

My practice
Hello, and welcome. I provide integrative and evidence-based counselling support to individuals aged 16+.

My primary focus is on building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients based on trust, compassion and safety as the foundation for positive growth and change. I use a non-pathologising approach and see you as the most powerful change-agent in your own life. My goal is to understand your needs and collaborate with you to create a flexible and tailored approach unique to you.

I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems therapy (IFS), and Schema Therapy. I also utilise mindfulness, existential and somatic therapies where appropriate. Some of the areas I work with include: anxiety, depression, bereavement (including ambiguous loss), interpersonal concerns, chronic health issues, body image concerns, and difficulties with self-esteem.

Currently, I provide in-person appointments at the conveniently located Mount Lawley Counselling Centre, as well as online and phone counselling sessions, making it easy and convenient to access support from your home or other remote location. To enquire or book an appointment, please contact me via my website www.elysiabullen.com.au or email [email protected].
