My practice
Cindy Melksham is a PACFA registered counsellor offering counselling for adolescents and adults both in-person in Footscray, Melbourne, and online across Australia.

Cindy supports clients experiencing performance anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, stress and confidence challenges. Her approach is warm, collaborative and trauma-informed, with a focus on creating a safe space where clients feel understood and supported.

In addition to traditional counselling, Cindy works beyond talk therapy, integrating Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping) and Brainspotting—powerful mind-body approaches that help process emotional experiences held in the nervous system. These modalities can support deeper emotional regulation, trauma integration and lasting change.

Cindy has experience working in schools, community settings and private practice, and holds a particular interest in attachment and early relational experiences, and how these shape confidence, emotional wellbeing and relationships.
