About me

My practice
Hi and welcome!

I am a warm, understanding and engaging fellow human, deeply attuned to helping individuals foster courage, hope and possibility through times of adversity, grief, loss, and transition.

While I help individuals and couples from all walks of life, many of my clients identify as highly sensitive people and neurodiverse, struggling to fit in and feel understood in our increasingly complex world. I am also deeply attuned to the experience of those who feel lost or empty, to those searching for a solid identity and a more meaningful life.

I too have lived through these periods of unrest and believe that my lived experience allows me to establish a humble and empathic connection with all fellow humans. This personal journey, along with years of supporting a diverse client group, has consistently shown me that the value of therapy - with the right therapist - is truly powerful, and a gift to our long-term psychological health and emotional wellbeing.

Even though I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I value the unique potential we bring to this life, mindful that we each have explicit needs and experience personal challenges that cannot be understood nor supported by a one size fits all approach. My aim instead, is to get to the heart of what is important and meaningful to my clients in a collaborative way, one that fosters insight, growth, and personal wisdom.

On a personal level, you will find that I am an eclectic mix of values aligned with equality and fairness, creativity, passionate pursuits of excellence, community and connection, freedom, introspection, and solitude. I was likely seen as a rebellious extrovert in my youth, but my favourite days are now spent indoors surrounded by books, creative pastimes, and our cheeky boxer dog Frankie. I may also have a night-time passion for dark chocolate and a rekindled love of swimming – how did I forget that being in water is a great way to return to a more embodied experience and thus therapeutic in itself!

I look forward to the opportunity to connect and work together. I am confident that I can help you find your way to a less complex, frustrating, and anxious life, one that is more aligned with the rich tapestry of your personal values and wisdom.

Until then, I wish you well.
