About me

My practice
With over 22 years of experience in healthcare, from the precision of the operating theatre to the relational depth of community nursing, I offer counselling that is compassionate, personalised, and deeply respectful of each client’s unique story. My approach is guided by trauma-aware, strengths-based principles and enriched with cultural sensitivity, ensuring you feel seen, heard, and valued.
I work collaboratively with you to build resilience, gain clarity, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. My therapeutic work is informed by evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). Together, we create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I strongly believe that there is no mental health without physical health, and no physical health without physical movement. Alongside my therapeutic practice, I am a trainer and coach in roller skating, and I deeply value the role of movement, play, and embodiment in emotional wellbeing. I enjoy Roller Skating with my family and in group settings, recognising physical activity as a powerful pathway to connection, resilience, and balance.
Drawing on the timeless wisdom of Yoga philosophy, I gently integrate mindfulness, self-awareness, and mind-body harmony into sessions. This holistic approach supports stress reduction, emotional regulation, and sustainable personal growth and wellbeing.
I hold a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology, an MPhil in Social Work specialising in Medical Psychiatry, and have recently completed a PhD in Psychology and Wellbeing.
If you are seeking support that honours your whole self - mind, body, and spirit - I am here to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey.
Thank you.
