About me

My practice
My passion for supporting diversity is grounded in lived experience, both personally and professionally. Extensive travel and immersion in different cultures have shaped my appreciation for difference, while my most profound learning has come from being a proud mother to two beautiful neurodivergent children, whom I have homeschooled. These experiences have deeply influenced my counselling approach, strengthening my belief in celebrating individuality and gently challenging narrow ideas of what is considered ‘normal’ or ‘right’.

Professionally, I bring over two decades of experience across telehealth, mental health, welfare, and wellbeing. My work has centred on supporting domestic and international students within the tertiary sector, across both TAFE and university settings, alongside providing guidance and support to academic staff in their roles. I have worked as a counsellor, counselling supervisor, and counselling lecturer, roles that have allowed me to integrate practice, reflection, and education in meaningful ways.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued, particularly those navigating difference, transition, or systems that were not designed with them in mind.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy good coffee, sunshine, laughter, and the simple moments that bring joy.
