About me

My practice
Intentional Pathways Counselling provides psychologically informed counselling focused on work, identity, and life transitions. The practice supports individuals navigating career change, employment-related stress, neurodiversity, disability, and periods of personal or vocational uncertainty.
Our approach is intentional, relational, and evidence-informed. Counselling is grounded in a strong understanding of how work, wellbeing, identity, and systems interact over time. Rather than focusing on symptom reduction alone, sessions emphasise meaning, agency, and sustainable pathways forward.
Intentional Pathways Counselling works with adults across a range of life stages, including those experiencing transition, burnout, redundancy, or changes in capacity or direction. Practice is aligned with contemporary counselling standards and values depth, clarity, and collaborative exploration.

As well as formal Counselling qualifications, Dr Smith holds a PhD(Medicine) and a Masters in Health Sciences (Development Disability) from the University of Sydney.
