* Certified Practicing PACFA members have studied at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above, with a minimum of 400 hours instruction in counselling or psychotherapy subjects, plus have a minimum of 40 hours client contact, and 10 hours of supervision.

Clinical PACFA members have met the education standards above and have accrued a minimum of 750 client contact hours, including 75 hours of supervision.

About me

My practice
Ian is an academic teacher, professional counsellor, clinical supervisor, and national accredited mediator who has been working in the field of counselling, teaching and team developing since the late 90’s. His expertise has helped many people and groups develop new ideas, skills, and achieve common goals.
For a number of years, Ian ran the team building camps for the Adelaide Football Club (The Crows). Some of the other corporate groups Ian has had the pleasure in working with are: SAPolice, Santos, Relationship Australia, Uniting Church, Australian Defence Force, the University of South Australia. To name a few.
He has earned a BA of Counselling, Grad Certificate of Work Place Mediation (relinquished for his MA), MA of Mediation and Conflict Resolution with a focus on family. In addition, he has a certificate in Work Place Training and Assessing, and an equivalent to an Associate Degree in Engineering from his early career days.
Ian is a full member of the Resolution Institute, a Nationally NMAS Accredited Mediator, Clinical member and Clinical Supervisor of PACFA, registered as a FDRP with the Federal Attorney General’s Department, and as a Referred Mediator for the Supreme Court.
In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities including bushwalking, kayaking and skydiving.
