About me

My practice
I’m Rhonda, Co-Founder of PsychWell, a Clinical Psychotherapist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, and Somatic Practitioner. I bring over 17 years of experience supporting adults and young people, and my work is grounded in creating a space that feels safe, genuine, and deeply human.

I believe that wellbeing grows from awareness, authenticity, and our capacity to be present with ourselves. Much of my work is about helping people slow down, reconnect, and gently build the skills to navigate life with more clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

My approach is relational and flexible, shaped around each person I work with. I draw from a range of modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, somatic and breath-based practices, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. I’m also deeply influenced by Eastern philosophy and a long-standing personal meditation practice, which continue to shape how I show up both in and outside of the therapy room.

In recent years, I’ve developed a strong interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy and have undertaken advanced training through Psychedelic Institute Australia, as well as the MAPS and Monash Therapy Training Program. I currently offer integration-focused support for clients navigating psychedelic experiences, with a careful, grounded, and ethically informed approach.

Outside of my professional role, I’m a mother and a naturally curious person who finds inspiration in art, design, film, and the exploration of human potential. That sense of curiosity and creativity is something I bring into my work, supporting people to explore new ways of relating to themselves and their experiences.

At the heart of what I do is a simple intention: to offer a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to grow in a way that feels meaningful to you
