About me

My practice
As a registered Christian Counsellor, my focus is on you as the client and the most suitable therapy pathways to bring you to wholeness and wellness again.
I am a 64 year old male, married to the wonderful Helen, with 3 adult children.
My story is that I worked in Industrial manufacturing for 35 years until the manufacturing changes sweeping Melbourne in 2013 finally caught up with me and I became redundant twice in that year. I decided it was time to look for an area to work in that would suit my natural skillset and hence I entered the World of Counselling!
I have studied at Chisholm TAFE to earn Diploma of Counselling, and at Australian Institute of Family Counselling to earn Christian Diploma of Counselling and Advanced Diploma of Counselling in 2015. In 2016, I completed Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Integrated Psychotherapy (Spiritual). This is a level 8 Counsellor/Therapist qualification.
I am enjoying working with a wide variety of diverse clients and would invite you to contact me for a no obligation discussion about how we might work together towards your healing. I am an experienced relationship Counsellor and work regularly with children and teens, as well as individuals.

I have considerable experience working with the more difficult areas of trauma and sexual abuse also and offer a compassionate approach using proven techniques that will make a positive difference in your life.
