About me

My practice
A strongly trauma-informed therapist, Maurite helps adults and children work through their challenges and develop into more resilient, confident versions of themselves with an increased capacity for joy and exploring life. Her style integrates several approaches to suit the individual, so a therapy session could be outdoors with horses and/or dogs, indoors simply talking, or with sandplay, clay, drawing, movement and mindfulness. Maurite is qualified in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a particularly gentle approach to processing traumatic experiences. She has locations west and south of Adelaide. Zoom sessions available. NDIS participants welcome.
