About me

My practice
I have an online practice, and also practice in counselling rooms at Latrobe Allied Health, Paddington, Brisbane. I counsel individuals and couples on a range of issues that affect mental health and personal wellbeing and rupture relationships, including depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, grief, loss and bereavement, fertility challenges and post-natal depression, strains and interruptions to relationships, identity and lifestyle challenges, life transitions including work stresses and career changes, move to residential and aged care, end-of-life and palliative care, marriage, divorce, living with medical diagnoses, self-esteem and self-worth.

I see NDIS clients who are self or Plan-managed online, and in person, with home visits available where needed. I am a registered private health provider, and I am a register WorkCover Queensland Provider, helping people with workplace injuries and illness.

Choose your favourite space to talk and meet me; in person at Paddington Central, Brisbane, or online sessions via a secure video link for a professional, relaxed, safe and secure counselling experience. My approach is to work with my clients to make sense of and navigate the challenges in life.

I provide counselling for the Modern Health Employee Assistance Program and I also consult to businesses such as health care practices and organisations, and professional services, offering counselling and coaching to staff, clients, patients, relatives, and carers.

I am a skilled communication and change strategist with 20 years’ experience consulting to organisations and helping people plan and focus energy to successfully transform their environment, improve business and personal relationships, and positively transition in their own life direction and performance.

I have a particular interest in professional ethics, and work with individual professionals and businesses to identify and resolve conflicts, and gain insight into cognitive, emotional, and behavioural issues that jeopardise professional registration. I support clients through difficult transitions while assisting the development of ethically competent practice.
