About me

My practice
Lê Hoang is a registered Counsellor (PACFA) with over 18 years of experience. Lê sees individuals, couples, and families, in her warm and spacious consulting space.

Lê specialises in relationship (personal and workplace) counselling. She is highly experienced working with issues around handling differences, enhancing communication, working through conflicts, repairing and building lasting relationships.

In addition to relationship counselling, Lê works with clients to address a range of concerns including self-esteem, depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, anger management and cross-cultural issues. Whilst she primarily works from a Systemic and Client-Centred approach, Lê also draws from Attachment Theory, Gottman Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.

When people is unsure whether counselling is for them, Lê responds that “just like you would take your car to service at least once a year, and/or repair and renovate your house before it gives you troubles, taking yourself and/or your relationships to counselling is necessary for your well-being”.

Lê views counselling as a collaborative process, wherein clients feel supported by her understanding and empathy, that they feel safe to explore options and alternatives to resourcefully resolving their life issues. She recognises that clients come to counselling from diverse life experiences and acknowledges their uniqueness. She aims to cultivate a comfortable environment in which her clients can voice their concerns and have a counsellor who is confident to work through their issues with them.
