About me

My practice
I am a qualified registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) who believes that the challenges we each face are as individual as we are. I strongly feel that the help you seek should be just as unique. We all face a variety of obstacles at different stages in our lives and often we need a plan and some guidance to assist us with moving forward. Together we will personalise a session plan that will help you reach your therapeutic goals.
As the principal counsellor at Positive Counselling, I use evidence-based interventions to ease any distress you may feel around changes that are occurring around you. I work with a wide variety of individuals who are seeking psychological support. In addition, I have a particular interest in working with individuals with Scoliosis and their families.
Counselling has been shown to benefit individuals and often lead to a significant reduction in feelings of distress, increased satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, greater personal awareness, and insight. I am passionate about your well-being and the strong connection that exists between the mind and the body.
