About me

My practice
Amber is an ACA and PACFA registered counsellor with a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, majoring in coaching. Amber is also an accredited crisis supporter through Lifeline with Mental Health First Aid accreditations and is currently completing her Masters Degree in Psychotherapy.

Amber is a warm and approachable therapist who works holistically with a strong basis in Person-Centred Therapy using a range of modalities including Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Strength-Based Therapy, and Therapeutic Coaching. Amber has a special interest in providing therapeutic support for children and adults experiencing depression and anxiety, study/work stress, self-esteem issues, life stage transition difficulties, trauma, domestic and family violence, and interpersonal and relationship issues. Amber believes that the key component to a good therapeutic relationship is mutual trust and respect. She also believes that everyone holds the answer to overcoming their obstacle from within and that they may require a supportive environment to cultivate it and become aware of it.
