About me

My practice
The beauty of the human body and mind has always been my passion. From my early days as a nurse/midwife practitioner, I was part of the birth process and everything it entails pre and post-natally. Within the field of orthoptics, I encountered intricacies of the brain and eye, management of disease process and the grief within this. Finally, finding my home within the realm of mental health and counselling.

My interest in women's health commenced with the holistic nature of midwifery. This has further developed into my particular interest and therapeutic focus on women and children's well-being in trauma, domestic violence, grief, and loss. While completing my studies, becoming a Raise Foundation Mentor awakened my passion for teen well-being and suicide awareness for young people.

My primary therapeutic approach and base are person-centred, with a great belief in the capacity of clients to achieve self-actualisation and create a sense of felt safety. I employ trauma-informed, research-based best practice in conjunction with somatic and mindful psychotherapies to complement each individual or family's needs.
