About me

My practice
Hi, I'm Fabi.

I know that reaching out for support can feel daunting. Whether you are facing a difficult period in your life, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, struggling in relationships, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, counselling can offer a space to pause, reflect, and heal.

As a trauma-informed Clinical Counsellor and founder of Still Becoming, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional distress, experiences of family and domestic violence, and substance use concerns. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

I do not see people as broken or in need of fixing. I believe that each of us carries an innate capacity for growth, resilience, and change. Sometimes life experiences, pain, or survival patterns can disconnect us from that inner wisdom. My role is to support you in reconnecting with yourself and moving forward in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassionate Inquiry. Therapy is always tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and needs because no two people are the same.

Originally from Brazil and now living in Australia, I bring a culturally responsive perspective to my work and value the richness that different life experiences and identities bring to the therapeutic relationship.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens through connection. You do not need to have the right words, a clear plan, or all the answers before starting. You are welcome exactly as you are.
