My practice
Psychotherapy with me will usually mean meeting once a week for an hour where we’ll talk through what is going on for you. I place a lot of importance on setting up an accepting relationship where people feel understood. Often we can feel ashamed of who we are and what we’re feeling and don’t always know why we’re feeling a certain way. Psychotherapy can help to uncover this. We’ll focus on the emotions and relationships you’re having trouble managing. Emotional problems and experiences you might come with include anxiety, depression, grief, loss, fears around sexuality, relationship struggles and trauma. Psychotherapy is an evidence-based tool to improve the way you’re relating to yourself and others, and to enhance personal growth.
