About me

My practice
I believe that creating a safe, supportive space for therapy can allow for the exploration of life struggles, painful events and relationship issues, eventually creating the powerful potential for healing and change in people’s lives.

I have specialist experience and interest in working with grief and loss. I have worked extensively with families grieving the death of a baby or child. I believe grief support is crucial through other life transitions too, such as estrangement and relationship breakdown, a loved one’s disability or illness, loss of a companion animal, redundancy, retirement and migration.

I have experience in supporting people through their transition to parenthood - early support for new parents can have significant benefits. I have a particular interest in the re-emergent grief of new mothers whose own mothers are absent or have died.

I have specialist training in Couples Therapy from Relationships Australia. I am also a Certified Bereavement Practitioner through the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement.
