My practice
Teena, Owner, Gestalt Psychotherapist, Principal Coach and Equine Assisted Therapist for Equine Resolutions & Nag Nanny has over 30 years of experience within the Equine Industry.

Teena holds a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy and is also registered​ with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, she is also an accredited practitioner with Equine Psychotherapy Institute, (EPI) completing foundational training in 2013 and then undertaking further specialised training in advance trauma and addictions. In addition, Teena also is a member of Horse Safety Australia Inc.
At Equine Resolutions, we incorporate horses into the client therapy sessions, we take the therapy out into the paddock !!

Horses have no preconceived ideas about how an individual "should be", a horse will simply meet you "as you are", without judgement.

With the animal (horse or dog, in this instance) being the intermediary between the therapist and the client feelings of "being judged", "I'm not good enough", "nobody loves me" are often lessened as the animal stands with them of their own free will. This may not happen in one-on-one, room-based therapy.
