About me

My practice
Moksha Relational Therapy is a private practice in Belconnen, Canberra, specialising in relationship counselling for individuals, couples, and families.
The practice is based on the understanding that many of the difficulties people bring to counselling make the most sense when understood within the relationships surrounding them. The work combines understanding — making sense of how difficulties developed and why — with new emotional and relational experiences that support meaningful and lasting change.

The approach is attachment-informed and draws primarily on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, family systems thinking, and trauma-informed practice. Family of origin experiences, cultural context, and the broader systems in which patterns developed are held within the same clinical frame.

Prakash KC is a PACFA Clinical Counsellor (Registration 26774) with a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling. He works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship difficulties, emotional disconnection, family conflict, life transitions, cultural and intergenerational challenges, recovery after infidelity, premarital counselling, and discernment counselling. His work is informed by an understanding of attachment processes, relational patterns, and systemic influences across the lifespan.

Having grown up in Nepal and worked in Australia since 2019, Prakash brings an understanding of relationships, family, identity, and belonging across different cultural contexts. Sessions are available in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
In-person in Belconnen, Canberra. Secure online sessions available nationally.
