About me

My practice
A Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist whose work explores experiential integrative approaches to health and wellness. Cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance, Jo's warm and compassionate manner allows for the creation of a safe space for clients to explore therapeutic goals and facilitate sense and meaning making of their issues and life. Therapy can be helpful when our usual way of coping has been challenged or when something in our life just doesn't feel right.
Jo is experienced and enjoys working with couples, individuals, children and offers face-to-face or Telehealth counselling sessions. Jo is also and experience Equine Psychotherapist. Counselling is a co created journey but each individual has a unique path with choices and wisdom belonging to them.
Jo’s purpose with counselling is to offer the kind of relationship that allows others to embrace their full humanity, with a strong belief in our inter connectedness, our own mind/body/self/soul as well as our connection with others and the larger web of life.
