My practice
Gillian has a Masters Degree in Counselling specialising in couples and relationships. She is experienced in working with couples, individuals, and polyamorous relationships to increase emotional connection and relationship satisfaction.

Gillian supports folks to de-escalate their relationship conflict, gain insight into what is keeping them stuck in their problematic patterns, use strategies to avoid escalating relationship distress, enhance deep connection, and increase sexual intimacy.

Gillian began her career at Relationships Australia where she worked with people facing infidelity, parenting concerns, emotional distance, communication difficulties, sex and intimacy issues, identity and sexuality questions, separation, and forming new relationships. She also practiced at the Melbourne Specialist Relationship Counselling Clinic.

Gillian has an energetic and warm approach to counselling. She is an integrative counsellor, using a combination of therapeutic approaches such as emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, Gottman, and neuroscience to create an individualized approach for each relationship.
