About
I aim to provide you with feelings of safety through deep empathy, acceptance, non-judgement and validation of your experiences. I notice your strengths and positive qualities, emphasise them and help you harness and build on them. I want you to feel empowered, so you see yourself not as a victim but as a tiger who has earned its stripes. I understand everyone is trying their best and deserves a chance to be heard and understood, not shamed and blamed—good rapport, laughter, authenticity, trust and prioritising your needs and safety act as a foundation. A solid therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst for meaningful change.
My exposure to diversity, unique life experience with many unexpected curveballs has shaped me into a reflective, understanding and insightful counsellor. I now see my neurodivergence as a strength, especially in counselling. I will also be offering music/DJ workshops for the ND community as creativity, community & music are instrumental for your well-being.
Do you feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, and struggling with emotions? I can help you explore your thoughts, emotions and fears, feel them, and start to heal. I also have in-depth knowledge of neurodivergence (ADHD, ASC, SPD etc), its nuances and comorbidities including chronic pain, and eating issues, from from both lived experience and persistence in finding answers. I am passionate about empowering others.
