My practice
Hi, my name is Kara. And as a therapist, I bring my whole self to you in an open, non-judgmental, and compassionate way.

I became a counsellor later in life. Even though I have always been fascinated by people, behaviour, and how our minds work, when I graduated high school, I knew I wasn’t ready to support people in the way they needed. Instead, I spent 15 years in the business world, grew, failed, succeeded, loved, grieved, learnt, and learnt some more, and during this time, became a wife and mother. It was then I knew I was ready to transition into the world of counselling and psychotherapy. While our sessions together are all about you, I believe my lived experiences amplify my ability to understand and empathise with your experience.
