My practice
Melanie is a Family, Play and Adolescent Therapist. She has a private practice on the Gold Coast and has experience of working with families and children for 22 years. Melanie is a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and is an accredited Family Therapist.
Melanie has a deep understanding and knowledge of early childhood development and behaviour. Melanie has integrated her learning into her practice, and further extended this in to her adolescent work. Melanie's passion for working with children, young people and families which has led her into growing an appreciation for relationships. Melanie understands relationships can be both a source of support and healing as well as conflicts, stress and worry. Adopting a family systems approach allows Melanie to guide and support relationships and support individuals to improve communication and understand conflicts.
