About me

My practice
I am a registered psychotherapist and somatic movement therapist & educator. In addition I am a certified Strozzi Somatics coach and an expressive arts practitioner with more than 20 years-experience. I have a special interest in physician and medical workers' mental health & wellness.

I have discovered through professional practice and personal experience that we can't always rely on thinking or talking alone to make healthy changes or recover wellness. By including our somatic (embodied) experience, we access more information and self-awareness than through thoughts alone. The language of sensation helps build a bridge of understanding between body and psyche and moves us toward integration and wholeness. I am regularly enthralled with the creative ways my clients' body/minds express needs and strengths that play an integral role in their ability to reclaim and sustain wellness.
