About me

My practice
Chantel Ferguson is a counsellor with a strong academic foundation in psychology and counselling, currently completing her Honours in Psychology. She also holds a Diploma of Strategic Psychotherapy and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, bringing an integrative and flexible approach to her work.

Chantel supports women and children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, stress, and related emotional challenges. She has a particular interest in working with ADHD presentations, especially in women, and understands the unique ways this can impact identity, relationships, and daily functioning.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also draws on attachment-informed frameworks and person-centred principles to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered.

Chantel places a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while building practical skills to support meaningful and lasting change. She is committed to providing ethical, culturally responsive care and tailoring her approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
