My practice
Marden is an empathetic, holistic therapist who is passionate about building a collaborative and trusting relationship with her clients. Marden uses person-centred, strengths-based modalities to cater to the unique needs of each client. Marden’s therapeutic style focuses on empowering change through autonomy.

Marden uses her years of study and experience to provide a warm and compassionate space for therapy. She has extensive experience working with a variety of clinical presentations, including mood and anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, childhood trauma and personality disorders.

Marden draws on a variety of evidence-based practices including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), trauma-informed practice, mindfulness and psychoeducation.

Marden has a special interest in the long-term effects of complex developmental trauma and the relationship between attachment and wellbeing. Her work is supported by a social justice framework, which has informed her approach with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Marden holds a Bachelor in Psychology, Masters in Counselling and is currently working towards a Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Life Story Work.

Marden is a Clinical Member of PACFA and an Approved Counsellor for Victims Services.

Marden is bilingual and can provide therapy in Kurdish (Sorani).
