Queensland Counsellors Association Inc. (QCA) is a professional association for counsellors and psychotherapists established in 1973 to provide a voice for members.  QCA is dedicated to supporting its members and enhancing the quality of counselling and psychotherapy services to the community.

Our aims are to:

  • Improve the quality of counselling services in Queensland
  • Promote the professional status, identity and visibility of counselling and psychotherapy in the community
  • Promote employment opportunities for counsellors and psychotherapists
  • Enhance the growth and development of professional counselling through ongoing professional development and supervision
  • Promote an accepted Code of Ethics for counsellors and psychotherapists
