You can search PACFA’s ‘Find a therapist’ directory to find a therapist by proximity to you, languages spoken, whether they offer telehealth, type of therapy and the issues in which they specialise.
Use ‘Search by therapist or therapy', to find a therapist who offers private health rebates, is an NDIS provider, mental health practitioner or accredited supervisor. You can also search by membership of PACFA associations, by name and registration number.
PACFA’s practising members are counsellors and psychotherapists who have educational qualifications at Bachelor degree level or above plus at least 750 client contact hours for clinical members and at least 40 client contact hours for Certified Practising members. Our practising members must complete 20 hours continuing professional development (CPD) annually and hold professional insurances.
