PACFA is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Griefline to provide a pathway for PACFA members to become a Griefline endorsed Grief and Loss practitioner. This will enable referrals from Griefline for clients seeking further counselling and support.
PACFA is working with Griefline to develop tailored training which will enable referral from Griefline for complex grief and loss. The training will ensure members are familiar with specific Griefline programs and client cohorts including those referred by Victoria Police Victims Advisory Unit, NSW Health and Griefline's Loneliness and Isolation project, national helpline and online forums.
Griefline will be presenting a one hour information session on Thursday 12 August 2021 at 6.00pm for interested PACFA members. Members will get the opportunity to ask questions and to understand the different types of Grief and Loss and where to find resources on dealing with Grief and Loss.
